This project focused on redesigning the official website of Sunan Gresik University to improve its visual appeal, usability, and overall user experience.
The goal was to transform the outdated interface into a modern, responsive, and engaging platform that better represents the institution and serves its users effectively — including prospective students, current students, and academic staff.
Problem / Challenge
The previous website had several issues that impacted user experience:
- Outdated and less engaging visual design
- Poor content structure and readability
- Limited interactivity
- Inconsistent responsiveness across devices
- Difficulty navigating important information
Additionally, working within WordPress and Elementor introduced certain limitations in achieving more advanced UI interactions.
Solution / Approach
To address these challenges, I redesigned the website with a user-centered approach, focusing on clarity, accessibility, and modern aesthetics.

- Rebuilding layouts using Elementor with a cleaner structure
- Enhancing UI with custom CSS for better visual consistency
