This project focused on redesigning the Menulis.id website, a platform centered around blogging and content publishing.

The main objective was to improve both the visual design and core functionality, making it easier for users to read, explore, and engage with content. The redesign aimed to create a more structured, user-friendly, and modern blogging experience.

Problem / Challenge

The existing website had several limitations that affected content consumption and user engagement:

  • Unstructured blog layout that made content harder to read
  • Lack of clear content hierarchy (titles, categories, metadata)
  • Limited user engagement features
  • Inconsistent design across pages
  • Suboptimal responsiveness on mobile devices

Additionally, ensuring smooth blogging functionality while maintaining design flexibility in WordPress required careful customization.

Solution / Approach

The redesign was approached with a strong focus on readability, structure, and user flow.

Key improvements included:

  • Redesigning blog layouts for better readability and visual hierarchy
  • Structuring content sections (featured posts, categories, recent posts)
  • Enhancing navigation to help users discover content more easily
  • Applying custom CSS for a consistent and clean UI
  • Improving responsiveness for a seamless mobile reading experience
